Kooks

The Kooks, banda de Indie Rock inglesa formada en Brighton en el año 2004. La banda se compone de Luke Pritchard, Paul Garred, Hugh Harris y Peter Denton. Tomaron el nombre de la canción de David Bowie «Kooks». La banda firmó en Virgin Records justo luego de tres meses de haber actuado en Brighton. Alcanzaron las lista musical del Reino Unido por primera vez con el sencillo «Eddie's Gun» llegando a la posición número treinta y nueve. El álbum debut Inside In/Inside Out, lanzado en enero de 2006, generó seis sencillos top 40 y a la fecha el álbum ha vendido sobre las dos millones de copias. El segundo álbum de la banda, Konk, lanzado en abril de 2008, fue directamente al número uno de la lista de álbumes del Reino Unido y vendió sobre las 65.000 copias en su semana debut .
